FIRST TIMERS

First Time at Fit Collective?

We’re so happy you found us! Our classes are designed for ALL fitness levels and goals. Whether you’re brand new or an experienced athlete, we truly have something for everyone!

Here’s Everything You Need to Know Before Your First Class:

  • Arrive 10 Minutes Before Class. This gives us time to show you around, introduce you to your instructor, and familiarize you with the format and equipment before class begins.
  • Parking. Our studio is located in York Street Yards and the entrance faces 39th Street. Free parking is available directly in front of the studio and throughout the entire complex. Please look for the FIT CO DNVR sign.
  • What to Bring. We provide all equipment and sweat towels; please bring a water bottle and plan to wear athletic shoes (required for LIFT, GRIT, KICK, STEP, and FIRE) or sticky socks/bare feet (BURN and YOGA).
  • Fill Out Waiver. You can fill out our electronic waiver in advance, or at the studio when you check in.

Class Formats

We offer eight class formats, designed to complement each other, across all fitness modalities. From high-intensity circuit training to restorative yoga, we offer everything you need to achieve a perfect balance of strength, endurance, and mobility. View all formats HERE.

Not sure where to start?

We recommend beginning with LIFT. It builds the foundational movement patterns you’ll use across every other format we offer, and it’s a great first introduction to how we coach at Fit Collective.

And if you’re on our New Client Intro, we recommend you take as many classes as possible during your two weeks to fully experience the variety of class formats we have to offer!

How Often Should I Come?

Building Momentum: Two to Three Classes Per Week

Our clients who notice real progress come to classes two to three times per week. That consistency helps build strength, endurance, and confidence much faster. We encourage you to pick the classes that you enjoy most to hit this goal!

Results Driven: Four Classes Per Week

Three classes per week is the threshold where most members begin to see and feel real, consistent results. A smart three-day mix might look like:

  • Day 1: LIFT
  • Day 2: BURN or YOGA
  • Day 3: GRIT or KICK or FIRE
  • Day 4: LIFT or BURN or GRIT

Make It Your Lifestyle: Five to Six Classes Per Week

Five to six classes per week is where the variety of our format offerings comes into play and clients experience sustainable results. Balancing workouts is the key to keeping your body and mind challenged and avoiding burnout, injury, and plateaus.

The goal with an advanced schedule is to commit to a minimum of two LIFT classes, one  higher-intensity cardio focused format (GRIT, FIRE, KICK or STEP) and fill the remaining days with BURN or YOGA. A sample week might look like:

  • Day 1: LIFT
  • Day 2: YOGA or BURN
  • Day 3: GRIT or STEP or KICK or FIRE
  • Day 4: LIFT
  • Day 5: YOGA or BURN
  • Day 6: GRIT

Common Questions

Do I need to already be fit to join a class?

No! Our classes are designed for all abilities and experience levels. From those who have never taken a fitness class or are coming back from injury to former athletes and die-hard fitness enthusiasts, our certified instructors are able to tailor each class to your unique needs.

Can I try different class formats?

Absolutely! We encourage you to take a variety of formats for the most well-rounded, balance of cardio, strength, and mobility. Experiencing a mix of class types also prevents burnout and keeps your body challenged!

What if I’m running late?

We ask that you arrive 10 minutes early for your first class. While you may enter a class up to 5 minutes late, if you are not present at class start time and the class is on a waitlist, your spot may be given to someone else.
